A NEW BEGINNING –
Present-Day Reflections
One fateful day rang a call through her home,
"Sir Gatsby's waiting; he's fluffy and
rare!"
I felt pressure mounting; “Can I fit the bill?”…
…“What if I disappoint the penning poetess’ glare?”
My
name is Sir Gatsby, with a calm temperament.
A big,
ORANGE adventurous tabby with eyes that gleam bright,
Tiger
stripes and swirls with an “M” shape on my head,
A soft
coat, youthful spirit, with wisdom in sight.
In a cat-friendly cabin, I found cat
trees and nappers,
With
sunlit beams and windows--a warm sanctuary.
The
prose weaver welcomed me with open arms,
Her time machine took me through days legendary.
