CONTEST: Your Fave Gourmet Chocolate Dessert?

By Cal Orey, The Writing Gourmet

"All you need is love. But a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt."
- Charles M. Schulz

I woke up this sunny morning to read a dark anti-chocolate blog post. Imagine that! I sense the bold blogger did it to draw big attention. It did. So, I'm swinging the other way. As a converted "serious" chocolate lover (and one who now knows the healing benefits of chocolate which are shared in my new book The Healing Powers of Chocolate), I'm offering a free book (mass market edition of The Healing Powers of Olive Oil or The Healing Powers of Vinegar published by Kensington) as a gift to the person who does love chocolate...
Simply share the title of your most delicious and creative gourmet chocolate dessert--a favorite for the upcoming holiday season. Mousse, muffins to truffles and cheesecake. Whatever chocolate delight grabs you--and me--will do it. And I will share the chocolate-loving winner's pick complete with a yummy recipe I find and use and/or where to find it at gourmet stores.

Deadline Date: November 11. Good luck! (I dedicate this book giveaway to the late Charles Schulz whom I had the awesome pleasure of interviewing on more than one occasion.)

  2. Chocolate Bread Pudding, ah that does good. Warm, comforting, and I bet I can find a super healthy grown up recipe for people of all ages.

  3. Kwarezimal; it's a typical Maltese Lenten sweet made with chocolate and almonds and drizled with honey and crushed hazelnuts when still hot.
